:Last November Comcast, closed the Repair section of the local Call Center and went to straight Sales.Everyone was given the option of go to Sales at a reduce per hour or no job. Naturally I tried sales.

Well as of 6/26, due to poor sales figures I fund myself unemployed. This triggered a severe Bipolar crash, hence my absence for a week or so.

So, right now I'm job hunting.

The only good thing, is I have a agent and a publisher wanting a draft of the scifi story I have had on the backburner for a year or two - preferably before Thanks Giving.

Seems like 2013, is not going to be a good year.

Simon-

Chin up, OM.

The power utilities are looking for qualified radio techs. I have turned down more work than I have taken from the utility. Just a ton of 2-way work out there.

Try UPS in Louisville, KENTUCKY, they hire techs off and on, won't hurt to send an application in.

Well there is an up side to divorce. My Doctor accused me of going to another Doctor to get blood pressure medication. I had to tell him I just separated from my soon to be ex wife. She was the cause of many of my physical ailments, Chronic cluster headaches, high blood pressure etc.
Bankruptcy is a blow to your ego for a little while. But if you have a good attorney you get to keep most of your stuff. I was deeply involved in real estate when the crash happened back in the 80's and 90's. I had houses I couldn't give away in nice neighborhoods.
Your heart will grow fond of another and you can recover financially. I did.

Roger that, OM.

Have you contacted the utility company yet? They are still desperately in need of radio techs.

If you don't mind moving to N. California, I could hook you up with a LOT of work. You'd be begging for time off.
