Have used and tested the 3k. Seems to be equal to the Wilson 5k trucker, and very durable.

i have a astatic 3k and i also have a wilson 5000 yes wilson makes a very good antenna indeed but when i installed the astatic 3k on my van i was amazed on the performance and the standing wave was as good as in which wilson is known for and as much as i hate to say this the astatic 3k has a set of ears on them that makes a wilson of all sorts no ways near the antenna that the 3k is i recomend bpth antennas but my pick will be the 3k by astatic. kingfishar@hotmail.com
