That would be a good start, maybe some of the old timers would like to try to come back once in a while, if you can get in touch with any, I will try from this end.

Hi Keith just been doing things people do, we are in Southern Ca now, where all mean people live, rush rush, am retired as I was before, play with my radios, and found a good lake to fish, and it is right behind the house, just over the hill so we bought the house, it takes me four minutes to get there, bought a float tube and a fish finder and it is fun .
Milk man do you fish ??

We have been in this house now for one year, it has the restrictions on it with antennas and etc, now I live on Lake five hole , (Golf Coarse) and no one came to me about the restrictions, which I new exzisted, paid cash for the house , I had installed, a Gap Challenger and an Astron 10 and 11 meter antenna, now I am not a red neck from Kentucky, there is nothing they could do to me with my antennas, I collect golf balls off my lawn and sell them back to the golfers for a dollar each

Real surprised they haven't said anything about your antenna. What do ya mean you're not a red neck from KY? My wife is. How do you like the GAP?
I'm thinking of a GAP Titan mounted just above the roof. GAP is 22 miles from me so it's easy to grab them if needed.
I had a friend back in school who used to get balls at one of the local golf courses till he dove a pond one day and found himself face to face with Mr Ali Ali-gator that is. yeah I'm in gator filled Florida.

press man I love the Gap Chalanger it has the eight bands, it can be ground mounted or roof mounted, it has 2 meter but no 440, but you can use 440 a bit.
I still have my DX-2517 that I bought from Copper it is still like new and talked to you guys back then on the CEF nets on Sundays back then.Copper should sell some 2 meter 440 radios and a good eight band antenna.I have my General ticket and it is good to have.
Tell your wife I went to school in Paducah Kentucky what a beautyful state.
Keith I will answer your questions after I come back from fishing.
Guys contack all our old friends and tell them to join us ok .

I remember a guy in FLORIDA use to get bent out of shape on SUNDAYS with the CEF nets. Those were the good days. Talked to GEORGE in Florida on 10 meters also. Monitoring this week on 18.157.5 17 meters, What is everyone listening to during the day can always switch to anything.

Speaking of snow, we are in a nightmare right now with snow and a lot of BAD traffic with tons of wrecks. And as this system clears out tonight it heads to Columbia, SC and they are going to get blasted with a ton of snow. Stay warm folks.
