not much goes on here any more KB. I remember when we all joined in the early 2000's and there was some one always posting. the moderators back then were tech 181 and 307. the last time I talked to either one of them was in 2007. 181 was still in Pennsylvania and 307 in Florida. 181 was on another forum and 307 was not active at that time. he was getting out of repairing cb radios and I bought 10 A+ kits from 307 when he was depleting his stock. not sure where they are now. a couple of the guys back then lived about 2 miles from me here in Oklahoma. I can not even remember all the guy's that were on back then. seems to be only a handful from back then is all that is on here now. I come buy by and read 2 or 3 times a day to see what is going on. |

Yes there were a lot of us and it was fun two, all we can do is keep posting and see if we can draw them back, plus any new guys out there should step in sometime, maybe we can build the Forum up more.
Where is Hal at, never see him post ever.
Alsworld is posting again, he is a fine person., did you read that Alan , ha ha
I am going to be an Modurator and hopfully I can increase the speed of the posting , I will watch the Fomum all day except for fishing in my Float tube on the lake, and playing with my Guitar, I bought one to learn on.

I'm still around and even call cq on Sundays after Church on 28.360. sorry I can't do the CB net as it ties in with Church time.

KB - yesterday around 1545 Pacific Time - 25w was receiving 59 into Palmer Alaska, while heading south back to Salem.
BTW KB is a good Aussie beer

According to the CEF they choose USB for comms with CEF members, but I have not heard any USB on there, would be easier to distinguish that.
Sunspots will be going down soon, better jump on the wagon fast.

KB CA would kill me in the coast of living out there, it's bad enough here in FL. Thank You for the flowers on my shack. it took a bit of saving up but I'm still not where I want to be yet but I'm far from where I began from. What helps is having a house paid for.

REVPO YES YOU ARE RIGHT WITH THE SUN SPOTS, THEY GENERALLY LEAVE NORTHERN CA AROUND FEB 14TH , NOT SURE ABOUT DOWN HERE.
WILL HAVE TO USE 2 METER 440 NOW FOR A WHILE
