I am curious if any of you are NOAA Storm Spotters like I am. I have been doing it for over ten years now. And with tornado season upon us, we will watch the skys in our business travels and as always, hope that we never see one/cause we would have to call in to NOAA and report it and hope that it would go away very quickly versus causing damage to people and property.
I made it through the Graduate Storm Spotter class. That is really neat to go through those classes for sure.

I am a licensed spotter, I am in the field of emergency management so it kind of goes hand in hand. I am no longer working for the university as an emergency manager but I will most likely keep my spotter license up to date. |

Anyone else? Let me encourage you to go take the classes where you live for the basic storm spotter. It is enjoyable, entertaining, and you will learn a LOT!
