I have a Mark 3 eagle, I added a 40mfd 450v with the 20uf 450v to make ping longer,it worked very well for about 3 or 4 month I turned it on one day and now the ping I had is now a ding and very short, please help me with this. Thanks 3wheeler

Is the receive on the radio about the same as before. IF so sounds like one of the caps has lost connection or burned out.
Those three 6BA6 tubes in the receiver really effect the receive and the ping. One of those could be bad or very weak.
