I am messing around with some old tube radios. At my QTH there is a ton of static at times as much as s-7 at times. On the newer rigs I've got ANL & NB clears it right up. Unfortunately some of the old tube rig have nothing. Does anyone out there know of a good inline ANL/NB unit ? That would make my old tube DX experience a whole lot better.

Thanks John,
I looked up the speakers.I would assume they are very good from what I read. I need to filter before the radio. Some sort of conditioning filter that works like a noise blanker. The noise is coming from a transformer on a pole near by. I live out in the country so the power company is not interested in repairing it just for me. Ha.
Thanks again for your reply

Hello Kiwi !!

Long time! How have you been? How's the little 4wd. Still having off road days? Have you made anymore youtube videos?

You can file a formal complaint with FCC, the power company will have to fix the problem. Likely just a loose ground.

Thanks Pressman,
I had hoped it wouldn't come to that. I would have thought the power company would been appreciative to know they had a problem so they could fix it. That's what I get for thinking I guess.

Hello Pressman,
No success yet . I have been working long hours at my job , so have not had a lot of time to dedicate to the problem. Any local or DX has been on the modern rigs with anl/nb on board . perhaps this weekend I can dig in a little more. I am sure there is a need for such a thing . I would have thought it already existed but apparently not.I may have to create one with some help from my copper talk friends.
Thanks for checking status I appreciate it more than you know.
