I bought this and it receives but poor, and when i TX the meter doesn't move, and i can have my son sit in my mobile in the driveway and it can be heard and there the RX needle moves in the mobile, oh and when i tried to check SWR the swr meter wont even move when i key up. is this a blow final, or finals?

should i replace with a stock OE one or is there upgrades that are better, more powerful etc? also, is there a way to test them? I have a few i would like to test.

Maybe the needle in the radio itself is broken? Are you using a separate SWR meter? Or the one in the radio? Are all the coax connections secure? coax working correctly? Check all the easy stuff first.. Best of luck!

Sounds like THE GOLDEN SCREW DRIVER strikes once again. Who ever had it before you must have been in the radio. Take it to a Tech. Those are really nice radio .
