I just hooked up my TS 500V and noticed a fair amount of reduced output. Used to get about 450w output with 3-4w drive on 100 amp ps. Now only getting about 350w or so. Same radio and meters. Took the lid off and took an IR temp scan of the Toshiba (non-red dot) pills and 1 nearest the rear is running much hotter than the other 3. Is this typically a sign the pill is bad or a component supporting the pill going/is bad? Thank you for any input.

I just sent the unit in for diagnosis. I'm really curious about the one transistor being much hotter than the others. I checked a couple other boxes with the same pills and under key down the temp was a few degrees of each other.

Got the issue resolved. Several little things and the old girl just needed a little TLC.
