Can anyone give me information about a Tech that use to be on here called THE INSPECTOR??? Many year's ago he gave a lot of valuable information to us about many radio mods. He was the first to inform us about a swing diode mod for the 2950dx, 2985dx, 2995dx. Of course it also will work for the rci 2970n2 and the 2970n4. After doing this mod all you need is a stock mic. Power mic's are to much after this mod. I like this because you sound great with a stock mic and I never have to worry about buying batteries for a power mic.LOL I still use it to this day and you can still find it here on the COPPER FORUM. |
