The annual winter hamfest is 02/23/02 8:00 Am - til 3:00 Pm at the New York State Armory behind the Arnot Mall in Horsheads NY.This is the smaller of the two Elmira hamfests but is larger than alot of the outdoor hamfests in NY.There is usally a good selecting of 11 meter gear. If you are in reasonable driving distance I reccomend stopping by.Admission is usally $4.00 at the door

I think the exit # is 51a.The Armory is on Colonial drive. It is set back off the road about 1/4 mile but you can't miss the sign.

check http://www.arast.org for directions.

Barefoot, do you still get over to Corning on your job? Is 585 your monitor freq? If so I'll give you a shout some night from a hilltop.I'll probably have a table in the back room so you Kawasaki & Honkytonk Man stop by to say hi.See ya at the fest.

I think I have a few power cords left for the 2510.I'll bring them and some apple fritters,or is it the sticky buns you buy from us?

I tried emailing you but it got kicked back.I played a little with the 2600 tonite and from the reports I got it's a screamer. The Chipswitch has more features than I thought,I'll play with that when i have more time.
I wouldn't have had a table but KJI canceled at the last minute.I had a good time.I sold a few amps and radios and bought a few and some how I ended up with money in my pocket at the end of the day!It was good seeing you and Kawasaki and will probably see you at Owego,Cortland,Rochester etc...

BROWNSTONE IT was a great hamfest and for once I came home with money in my pocket also. I probably should have kept the 2600 and sold the Lincoln, keep watch on the net and you might see the Lincoln for sale . See you at the next hamfest Newark is a good one BAREFOOT
