To any ham that knows this radio or TECH. this radio is 3 years old only talked on for an hour. I turned it off one night then the next day went to turn it on and nothing happened. Wont power on. So I checked the fuses in the power cord and they were good. Checked the fuse in the radio. It was good. Then I checked if I was getting power at the fuse in the radio 13.8 volts. It is good. then I looked to see if there was anything on the board that was burned or discolored or smelled hot or burned. Nothing wrong there. Checked the power supply It was good. So anyone have any idea's what could be wrong. P.S. It had never been connected backwards on polarity. been connected for 3 years. Also this radio is no longer made by Alinco.

Have you checked the circuitry behind the front panel for any signs of damage?

Yes and there is nothing I can find wrong. No odor, nothing visual. I think it might have got a static crash while it was off is all I can think of.

On 10 mtrs we are usually on the CEF net frequency 28.360 USB.
On 11 mtrs we are on Ch13 AM but occasionally on USB.
This is every night between 7pm and 10pm GMT. At weekends I am listening most of the day from 10am until 10pm so if conditions are in our favor then hopefully we will make that contact.

Sorry to be so late getting back to you but I had a death in the family. I lost my only nephew at the age of 37. He had a massive heart attack. I will write this down so I will always have it. Thank You and God Bless You and Your Family

Charliebrown, sorry for your loss. Heart attacks are for some reason getting quite common in younger people since the whole Covid thing.
I will listen out for you or any CEF members on the net freqs.

Over the past few years he had covid twice but bounced back great with no health issues. He inherited A FIB from his mother and did not know it. Sad thing is he had an appointment with a heart doctor the day after he had died. Thank you TECH 858 for your prayers for my family. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
