Does anybody know how these no ground antennas work?I always thought they were grounded through the coax.

Ok well for example, how would a base station antenna be grounded? They say you don't have to ground a base antenna. So does it ground out through the cb coax or just not need a ground at
all?

no ground antennas work by being a end fed 1/2 wave even then it is a good idea to decouple the coax with a set of ferite beads or a 1/4 wave long brad folded back from the ant feed check the arrl ant books for information
