I will be on 27.775 usb tomorrow from about 12 noon till the skip rolls out. I go by 2na750. I hope to hear some of you on. I am located in SW Ohio just above Cincinnati. I want to see how my new Melaka sounds out there in the distance. If anyone hears me I would like to have a tape of it. Again that is 27775usb. Email me direct if you have any ? rice1030@fuse.net |

why not a am channel cause not everyone has ssb and some dont like ssb.26.815 would be a good clean channel to talk on and that way we can all here each other and hold a good conversation without people keying on each other.we can even have a little contest.one guy can listen and everyone key up and see whos being heard the most and see how well our radios perform.10/////////4 |

Gee, thanks so much for remembering both SSB and AM users, but what about those of us that don't have the extra channels yet? It doesn't really matter because at the time y'all are gonna talk I have to be sleeping. But it would be nice if sometime, maybe we could all meet on a legal channel, and chat for awhile. Then again, I suppose your meeting out of band because of all the gosh darn noise that's on the legal 40. So I guess I should probably shut up, but I still feel a bit un-loved because your radios are BIGGER than mine. So I suppose that I should probably wish you all luck, and hope that I can join you guys here in the near future. Good look.

RADIO DUDE,
I WILL LISTEN FOR YOU ON THE DISIGNATED FREQUENCY, MY CALL IS #575 CENTERAL SOUTHERN OHIO. I NORMALY RUN 575LSB , BUT I DO RUN THE BAND.I HAVE BEEN LEANING TOWARD GOING TO UPPER SIDEBAND MYSELF-BUT TO MANY REGULARS ON LSB575 AT THIS TIME. I AM RUNNING A YAESU FT101-Z , AN OLD TUBE FINAL RADIO THAT SEEMS TO DO THE TRICK FOR ME. I HAVE MADE MORE CONTACT WITH JUST THE RADIO ALONE IN TWO MONTHS THAN I DID IN SIX MONTHS ON MY COBRA. EVEN WITH EXTRA FIRE IN THE WIRE ON THE COBRA TO MATCH OR EXCEED THE WATTAGE OF THE YAESU. THE RECIEVE IS SO MUCH BETTER ON THE YAESU. ANYHOW I WILL BE ON THE FREQ FROM ABOUT 11 TILL 1:30 THIS IS A GOOD IDEA TO PRE-POST LIKE THIS I THINK MAYBE WE SHOULD HAVE A NET CHECK-IN AT A CERTAIN TIME EVERY WEEK ON A ASSIGNED FREQ.

I was trying at about 4:00 here in the cactus patch, phoenix arizona and no good. If anyone reads this message here tonight i will be on 26.815 am until the skip is gone!!!!

Hey guys I called and called but I didnt hear anyone. I made a few contacts into cananda and the east coast but I had bad conditions. I am game to try again someone be the Net controller this time. |
