My pwr supply has a prob. The waring light comes on and the buzzer sounds, I cant adjust the voltage. Any ideas?

Radiodude: It's most likley the scr,[silicone-controled rectifier] on the board that has the adjustments. It could be the Lm 723 voltage regulator, but most likley the scr. The scr is a to 220 case device that looks like a final transistor with an odd number on it,on the regulator board. [rip-off shack does NOT have them] bullshipper 537 Tex.

Is it a flat three legged thing about 1in square? Mounted on the board close to the top?
