i went to this guys house,and he had alot of radio junk.he was handing me stuff left and right.i got a free digi scan 400 in all the stuff. and it works.nothing like free stuff.

I used to have one of those on a Cobra 140GTL. Did you get the docs with it?

i like them,but it wont go as high or low as my radio,i can get docs for hook up on most radios on the web.plus like a cobra 2000 or 142gtl you get mor frequencys with a digi scan

the digi scan works great,but not compatible with my vr-9000.had on guy try to give me 50.00 for it.wonder how much it was new?

I just recieved for free, A 25 foot tower, 200 feet of belden coax, a modulation bridge, mod meter, Antron 99, and as soon as he gets to them two boxes full of mobile cb's and accesories and two base cb's not sure what they are. That is some really cool stuff to get for free and everything i have gotton so far is in good shape and works well......hope some of the cb's work too lol..

Free? a few years back a friend of mine upgraded to a BIG radio and had 2 old kenwoods he shiped me one was a TS-700 2 meter all mode required some minor repairs the other a TS-830 i had to get in the rf deck and resolder a bunch of points.
Now i had a BACK up station i had always wanted
too bad that 830 only runs SSB no fm no am nice radio otherwise. O i also got a TS-120 its a 15 watt SSB 80-10 meter moble radio nice small i lent it to a friend who had NOTHING now he got a toy too heck when life is good pass it on im in no hurry to ever get it back you know its got a good home.
