digital can be received by putting the microphone from your computer near your radio speaker.
you can also transmit digital signals by holding the mike from the tramsmitter near the computer speakers, a desk mike with a ptt lock works good. this will work with any of the soundcard based software programs.

this web site has free software for all digital modes. the help section of the programs have instructions how to set up. digital is sent on ssb
sstv and psk 31 are sent on usb and rtty is sent on lsb. psk31 works good at low power. i worked new zealand and australia with only 40 watts into a home made v-beam antenna, signal reports were as good as 20 over nine.
