Hi, I Just startd back on CB since 25 years and i have me a goat and a nissan fast super fast car man oh ya man its some fast car anyway on my nissan it cratches it what kind of magnetic mount is really tall in has a soft under skirt

use wilson 1000 or 5000

put cloth under the mount.

GTO,Try a Wilson 1000 or 5000, both are tall (62") and glue a piece of felt or somkething similar to the the bottom of the mag. It will keep it from scratching the paint.

it would be best to dump the magnet mount and mount it another way as moistuer would settle under it with cloth more than it does now. not to mention loosing magnetic strength to the metal. bumper, gutter, best is a body mount but i know thats not an opion on your baby,hehe.what year is it i had a 400 ram air gto
engine in my 81 trans-am. we rebuilt the motor
and brought it from 366hp to around 475-500hp i ate alot of vetts with this car.i love the gto
and those awesome ram air engines!
