I got another Cobra 2000 in the mail today - i got it because it has variable power on it - which works good with my Varmint XL-450. There is also a knob on the back of the radio that turns left to right - still trying to figure out what that knob is.

it could be extra chanels,do you have a freq counter? maybe a scanner that covers those freqs

Ben, where did you get the 2000? Off of EBay?
I sold one around Christmas on Ebay and it had the tone on the back of the radio and I think the extra channel kit was where the tone was originally. |

could be variable talk back, roger beep shut off, or if it clicks, probably a 5 position switch for channels...DEAN- |
