what is the better amp x-force / texas star 667v or xt400 for the money and for the long run?

The "X400" would be a direct comparison to the 667. The 667 doesn't even compare to the X400 other than transistor similarity.

X-force....TS 667v...overated. Not knocking TS, very good amp, but you will probably see more power out of a X-400 than a TS 667. Plus they look alot better, smaller, easier to conciel. The TS always looked like a mailbox to me..LOL..Eddie

Texas star is good all around for SSB and AM operations. I have a couple of 667 V's and an old Texas Star White Line 500v. The Texas Star's work great. Not sure about the X-force mobiles. I think the XT 400 is AM only.
