I've owned a few of these rigs. I prefer them over any other radio I have ever tried. When tuned correctly the have a distinct sound to them. I never had more "what are you talking on?" requests with any other radio in 15yrs. Has variable power, swr, roger beep, echo, and VARIABLE TALKBACK that WORKS. Very sensitive receive, sometimes a bit too sensitive. It is prone to a little more noise on rx than most radios, but the pluses outweigh the minuses significantly. The only thing I wish it had is a 6 digit counter.

I can't wait to try one out. Magnum really put some thought into that radio. They combined the design of the 257 and put it into the classic DX chassis that we all know and love. I can't agree more with Tech671 regarding the sensitivity of the receive. Almost unheard of in these types of radios. All those features, and the price! WOW! Watch out Galaxy!

I own one of these radios and like Tech671 said they have a sound of their own. If you like echo they have the best of any radio I have ever heard, the receive is very sensitive. I have a Galaxy DX99V and the Delta Force blows that away. The only thing that I wish it had was the big meter like the 99. I get 3 watts on low power and 15 watts on high, these are dead key numbers. These are one of the best radios I have ever bought, just my thoughts!!!

Great radio I have owned three of them . Only problem is they are a little noisy on receive compared to HR2510 They have a lot of good features such as echo, talkback, the scan is great.
