...have noticed over the past 6 months on the cb channels there are fewer and fewer " 5 ping roger beeps ".. less " moaning voices " and not as many "tarzan yells " from these cb toys than a year ago... are these things tearing up and NOT being fixed or is the CB group growing up ? |

I am going to guess that the CB group is not growing up because I listen to ch. 19 on the way to work every morning and you know how childish "SOME" of the people are. Notice I said some. I didnt want to offend any truckers out here. But I think that the "noise toys" are becoming old news. Think about it, when you heard the first tarzan yell or the first train, lady in heat, pink panther...ect... It was pretty neat. Now when you here it, you probably just ignore it or you might not even notice it half of the time. But regardless, I myself have never owned a noise toy nor did I ever hane intentions of doing so. Dont get me wrong, I am a good one for aggravating some of the local guys I chat with, but for some reason I have never had an interest in them. I like the ETS tone on the "K" eagles. I use mine once in a while. I wish that you could but that roger beep and install it in a radio. Oh well, enough yakkin. I just had to comment on that. |

OHH! I hate them da** things!!! Whoever came up with the idea for a noise toy should be shot! I once bought a radio that had a toy and the first thing i did was tear out that dang thing!! |
