If you cannot find an original model bracket or a replacement bracket try this.

Find a bracket from another radio that fits the holes on the side of your 2510. Now with a saw cut the bracket in the middle. Slide the bracket over itself as you screw the bracket into the side of the 2510--you might have to trim the length of one or both sides of the bracket tabs so that the tabs do not extend beyond the width of the 2510.

Now mark and drill two or more common holes thru both overlaping bracket tabs. Mount the radio using the overlapped bracket tabs and the common mounting holes in said tabs. The radio will of course be a tad bit tilted but chances are no one will notice.

If the bracket is not black in color and you would like a more original look just get a small can of spray flat black paint at Wal Mart.

And since you are mounting it in your vehicle you might also consider the installation of a good external speaker rather than use that little speaker in the radio case.

If you have any questions contact me at elcofp@bellsouth.net Attention Ray. Leave your E mail address.
