The Fcc has no rules!!! They can do what they want when they want!!! You have nothing to say about what they do!!

----I did a quick scan of the FCC website, and found this. I didn't look over it very well, but it does have some "do's and don'ts" type stuff on that page. There are about ten different questions on there that you will hopefully find useful. Hope it helps.

----Jeez! I forgot to pass along the actual website, duh!! Well, regardless, I hope this satisfies your query. You probably thought "Adam's post didn't really help me that much." HAHA.

Re Freezer guy....

Actually you do have some small input. I will not go thru the process of rule making in detail. But there is a comment phase of rule making where anyone can comment on a proposed rule change.

IN FACT, rule changes are proposed by individuals. You chould check out the FCC web site to see about how to make a proposed rule change.

It sounds like someone got busted? Did ya say hello to the FCC inspectors?

No DeadlyEyes, no one got busted!! I just been having some problems with a neighbor of mine who is being kind of stubborn about my hobby. Purchased a filter to eliminate any bleedover that I was doing on his computer speakers but now it's down to just a touch lamp. I had made a comment like maybe you could just unplug it at night but he said that he shouldn't have to. Was trying to find a "happy medium" with this guy but just wanted to know where the fcc web site was for cb radio's. Thanks for the input guys!!!!!

Hey, his computer speakers are cheap. I just bought some new ones and no problems all the way up to 400 watts! BUY CREATIVE SPEAKERS! MADE BY CREATIVE!

Tell him to take his touch lamp and shove it. You have tried to help this issue what else can you do? DONT BUY HIM ANYTHING TO PUT INLINE WITH ANYTHING. HE COULD SAY SOMTHING STOPPED WORKING AND BLAME YOU!

I Hate neighbors who slam "YOU" because their equipmen is junk. All electronics must accept all and any interference. His lamp is junk.

ONE MORE TIME

BOXCAR it is like this the FCC is VERY CLEAR computer speakers are not radio recivers they are under part 15 and MUST accept any interferance problem as a problem with that speaker. Now TAZ is right it is NOT your place to modify or add to the mans system if it goes BOOM expect a lawsuit.
Here is what you do go to...

http://www.palomar-engineers.com/

and get a list of cores that HE can buy to kill the problem on his system IT IS HIS PROBLEM.

I'm tellin' ya, you guys are a hoot! No wonder I'm in here all the time!! Ain't nothing like some down home nitty gritty gossip about the neighbor who is making an a** out of himself. Caught him the other day gossiping to the neighbor down the street. I asked him how old he was!! Told him that he needed to start watching "Days of our lives" and then he can gossip all he wants!!! LOL!!!

I'll check out the web site there bruce and possibly print out a sheet and tell the neighbor to possibly check it out and if not, he'll have some good "charmin" toilet paper then!! Ha!!!!!
