that is a real cool background. Where did you get that? I would like to show a pic of my desktop but I cant figure out how to do that. I have a hard time running the vcr. As a matter of fact, I have 2 watches set 1 hour apart from each other, when the time changes, I just put the other watch on. Well, I'm not quite that bad...Eddie |

Yup, but I think the animation on your home page of the Mac getting its head whacked off is funny.
I can't understand the sometimes hostile nature of the Mac v PC debate. I use a PC at work, and I got that IBM 8086 running DOS 2.11 with the green monochrome monitor set up in the attic Did I mention it has dual 5 1/4 floppy drives?

easy...
For all of you who dont know..
1.)Click this like and download irfanview http://download.com.com/3000-2192-8209428.html?tag=lst-0-1
2.) install it and then minimize everything on your screen and click the prnt screen button on your keyboard.
3.) open irfanview and click the edit menu and click paste.
4. click file and click save as. name it whatever and save it as a jpeg image.

I dont think you can have signatures on coppers forum 671. if you could i would have one.
Umm the motor pic you posted is a little small so if you blew it up it probly wouldnt look so good, i mean you still could use it but the quality of the pic would be a lot less. |

Thanks Taz for posting mine. I kept timing out, but that comes from my damn dial-up ISP, but that's all I can get. BTW, the quick launches don't take any resources, just that stuff in the work tray. When I ctrl-alt-del, i've just got about 7 things running, which ain't bad, and I've got 512 megs of RAM, so pretty well covered there.
Alsworth, your right about the youngsters and the computers, I've had my grandkids help me in the past, now that really sounds old. ha |

It's a litte registry hack in NT, 2000 and XP. I run terminal services and VNC a lot with several machine desktops open, so I keep 'em all straight like that. |

What version of OS X are you running? I was one of the many who bought the public beta when it was released and found the system to be somewhat sluggish, especially with that darn geni effect. |

well, on the XSERVE, I can run XP with Virtual PC on OS X. That's what you see there. When you run that, the XP window acts just like a normal PC. I actually logon with a Novell client there. I have another Mac, PowerPC Wallstreeter laptop running Yellowdog Linux as well. |
