Thought you guys would get a kick out of this. This is a radio being sold on a web site. WOULD YOU BUY IT??? LOL!!!!!!

This item is a Radio, I am told it is a CB Base Station Royce AMSSB Transceiver Model 642, with a Microphone, Seems to work, heard voices on many stations between 1 and 40 when I tried to operate it using a coathanger stuck in the antenna hole, coathanger not included, one tone knob is missing on the front, lights up, with meters, but do not know if they work or what they do, talked into the Microphone, but I do not know if anyone could hear me as I do not know if it works either, hummed at bit, but looks real nice. Sold in used condition, as you see it here. Neat Gadget from an Estate Sale.

Hey guys,

Don't laugh about the coat hanger deal. I once built a antenna out of slightly over 100 of them. You take the ends and interloop them, then you solder all the ends together. I installed the entire thing around my attic walls. Depending on the amount of hangers you use, you can alter your SWR. However, If you want you can even use a tuner to bring it down. This antenna when finished would handle 1000 watts PEP Was a fantastic little Bugger! Try it, you might be amazed.
