guess bc 9000 UNIDEN/BEARCAT scanners are kind of "rare" for most home with scanners in them, most places that USED to carry them do not any more due to lack of sales, and if an item does NOT move fast, why keep it in stock ?...guessing most folks just want a simple old bc III black face or white face crystal scanner or some folks like the BC 145 which is fairly simple to program, or a realistic 2005 or 2006 , which are becoming rarer and rarer with each passing day...but scanner owners get kind of a bad name from some folks, even though all they do is LISTEN to a radio reciever, which is NO different than listening to a CB and not keying the mike, or listening to the am/fm broadcast radio...shucks most folks are not even knowing that the basic TV set recieves at least 2 different signals at the same time...one is the VIDEO ( picture ) and one other frequency is the audio ( sound )...plus what ever will be included in the new H D T V s in the next few years....BIG FOOT
