I recently inquired about members selling things on this sight and was told not yet but its in the works. I know most of us have stuff we'd like to post for sale here before going to ebay. Lets see how many of us would use this service with a simple yes or no post and maybe the powers that be will expedite the set up of this service. This would be handy for current members and can probably bring in a few new ones. Maybe we can even help by suggesting parameters by which this service can be used. What do you say fellow forum members. |

The problem with this however, people would probably have for sale or trade some of the same equipment sold by Copper. You couldn't hardly expect them to allow that on a forum that they pay for, that wouldn't be right. And the sale of even an old amp or radio they don't have, might keep someone from buying a new one they do have for sale. |

I've tried posting things on here a few times and it never flew. Finally I emailed the forumaster and asked why and he explained the reason. It is very understandable. But I am all for it. I love to trade equipment. Most of my stuff is through trade...Eddie |

Hey Bullseye, I got all kinds of radio's laying around for horse tradin' or selling. As long as it don't infringe on Copper Electronic sales. Most of the stuff that I have are older CB's. Stuff that Copper don't carry...............You got my vote as well..............Also a chat room would be nice as well.................73's........

Hey guys, I would like very much to see some trading and auctions here but it will sure burden Copper and it may put its self in an unfavorable postion regarding auctions, if not for the loss of sales, then for sure picking up the tab of running the whole thing and having to be liable for settling diputes. Copper is already the best cb site I have ever seen and is likely to stay that way. You can post about items they dont carry, you can post about other ditributers and where to find products, you cant ask for much more than that. Perhaps copper should charge a healthy service fee on each item bought or sold here. Who would be allright with that? |

I am all for a site we can list items for sale. some of the other sites have this but I think Copper has more readers. I have bought and sold several radios over the internet without ebay. |
