Got one coming from a guy on Ebay that is colpete with box and papers and spects sheets. Anyone use one of these mikes and what do you like/dislike about them?

I have two of them, good mics. Only thing they don't sound the same on all radios. They do good on my saturn, but I have tried them on other radios and sound like ••••.Thats just my 2 cents.

Any Turner power base mike sounds the best on a HR 2510 radio. I have tried just about every base mike I could get my hands on for the HR 2510 and this is the one. They do sound great with other radios as well. You might want to keep your hands on yours no matter what because they are becoming collectors items. Well good luck!

When I bought my 2510, that is what mic the guy used on it and it sounded great. I currently use a night eagle but the turner sounded just as good. I havn't tried it on any other radio.

I run a plus 2 now on my 2600 and it T_A_L_K_S plain and simple!!!!
Great old mike and they are getting more and more hard to find in good shape! Just look at ehat they are going for on Ebay! Every single one ive seen even in not so good cond all have sold for well over $50.00!!!!! I have a plus 3 ive had for a while but i think either the bottom amp board has a component out or the head is going bad because in order to get any mod i have to run the mikes gain almost all the way open.

Hoosier..... I have a Silver Eagle on my Lincoln
(which is basically the HR2510.)and everyone says it sounds good and loud. I have tried Turners, didn't like 'em. They don't have the audio that the Eagle has. Besides, I like the looks of the Eagle better. :) Just my opinon.

I have the Tuner III is a great mic IMO, atleast for my Dirland 3900B. Good pickup and gain with above average frequency response.
