Which of these radios do you like the best and why?I might be gettin a Superstar 3900 but I've heard about the AP Hill & I like it too.I do want
sidebands though.Whats your opinions?

There's one major difference...
Some call "uppers and lowers" the extra channels. Both radios have that. SSB is something different and the AP Hill does not have that.
If you do want the SSB and don't care for echo, the 3900 is a nice rig.
If you want echo too the RF Limited Xtreme 2018 is the best echo hand mike made to date.
If you just want the "uppers and lowers" and the echo built in then the AP Hill might fit the bill.

I have a superstar 3900 & wattage seems to fall now & then, like when I key up close to my house, the carrier drops a lot on my ranger 2950 dx I use for a base,.Could this just be something other than a problem in my new superstar ?. Dont have a watt meter now,But meter on superstar dosent fall back any when it drops from 8 bars to 3 bars on the ranger in the house,.Tried going a distance away & dont have that problem..
