On eBay, ad states radio has minor ware, just tuned by radio tech, 100% operational, etc. Radio looks like it was dragged down a concrete road. The top has more deep scratches than good places on top cover. Plexiglass cover over display & digital clock is scratched beyond belief. Also, no hand mic, the radio does not work either! This is a Radio Shack TRC-459 that I paid $75 shipped. DO NOT deal with this bum. I bought 15 radios in the last month from many states. Three radios were from Florida and two from Florida were junk like this. Rest of radios from many states was excellent as represented! |

Doesn't E-bay protect you.Like if something isn't what was promised will they go after the seller?Or is it too huch of a hassle? |

Over $75, it is not worth it. He offered a refund, but I lose $35 on shipping both ways for $59 back. Who would trust him anyways once one sends a radio back to him! As for eBay? Heck, they may take his side! After all, they like new customers- it is a business. I just do not want others screwed over by the bum. |

I had the same thing on ebay i won 2 40ch mobles "JUST LIKE NEW" when they came one was so covered in mold and dirt you could not read the display the other dead.... well sweet revenge i disacembled the first one cleaned it up and got it fully working and the 2 nd was a bad on/off switch which i got lucky on needed to be turned on/off till it broke free. REVENGE TIME i PHOTOGRAPHED both and sent him it with a note GREAT RADIOS GOT $50 EACH FOR THEM !

Porky4u settled to a point both of us can live with. My loss may be only $25. Guess he just did not know better or was half blind! |
