Alsworld, I have a brother who served in the Navy during Dessert Storm. He was stationed in Jacksonville aboard the USS Saratogo.

Karatebutcher,

now way, we've talked before??? that's so cool! I was keeping pieces of paper on who I had talked to previously but they all got dumped as trash when I was on the road. I should have been better organized for sure.

Yep I talk most DX on 27.385 but occasionally go down to 27.375 if 38 is going crazy. I flip back and forth a lot but mainly 27385. I've been listening most of the day but skip is real dead.

I got bored so I built myself a homemade dipole to try out. I have it pointed right toward you so if we ever talk again, maybe I'll swap antennas and see what a difference it makes. It's cool talking to other forum members. I've got 536 burned in the memory to be listening for.

Bigbob, thanks!

ALSWORLD, I didn't see your post until late today about your going to be on 27385 lsb today, I will make a habit of calling for you again . remember there is a three hour difference in time, week nights what time do you listen to 38 lsb, I will call then,

You are an airdale aren't you, I loved the Navy, I put in for Destroyers in boot and got them, proud of you Sir, there should be more like you.
