I dunno....I have heard it was becuz they were easily moified? Just like alot of these radios.The company either quit making them or they changed them so it's harder or impossible to modify.

Hook948, if all they did was change a few things on the 2510 and rename it the lincoln, then why dont they make/sell them here in the states?

They sell them here in the US.There is a few places that have them BUT you can get them shipped to your door from across the water cheaper than you can buy em here for.Not because the dealer is making a big mark up, but because their supplier is:)
