I bought the movie "Joy ride" and watched it today. It's not too bad except for the things that I noticed....

They are talking on Ch.19 with the bad guy trucker....they are on usb according to the switch on the radio. Since when is 27.185 an usb frequency!?lol

Things I never knew before....

They can talk to the bad guy before he unkeys! lol

All bad guy truckdrivers drive older model Peterbilts.

These older Peterbilts need to have the turbo seals replaced...lots of grey smoke from this one!

2 guys and a really hot chick in a 71' Chrysler Newport(383-440 c.i.?)cant out run an old Peterbilt even on curvy roads.

Peterbilts dont get stuck in the mud like other trucks do.

Actully it wasn't a bad flick, there is 2 endings to it at the end,you watch the whole movie then the second ending starts over about 3/4 of the way through it.

Guess the average Joe wouldn't notice these things, those of us in the know use our pause button to make sure the movie is politically correct. :)

They made that same mistake in Die Hard when "John" was talkning to "Hans."

It was also odd that all of the police communications seemed to be taking place over the CB radio--From the scene when John's limo driver realizes the building had been taken over.

The Cherokee Nightrider 150 CB used in "Joy Ride" did not nor ever did have a digital bar graph S-meter, nor has any CB I've ever seen had a red LED light on the mike that lights up when you transmit.

Talking about movies with cb's, I was reminded of the "good buddy" talk that was in them. Also reminds me of the ol' Dukes of Hazzard. Gosh, those were the days.
