how do i get my receive back,i only have 4 wires on my mic,i tries jumpin the 2 and 4 pins with sheild then with the ground,can some1 help me,i kno it can be done,i jus forgot how,lol.

if you could give me the color wires you are working with most likly help for sure-- till then try this-1 yellow -2n/c -3black -4 shield -5red-- let me knowDEAN-

Which mic? If it is a newer style , pin 1 = White , pin 2 = Shield / jumped to pin 4 , Pin 3 = Black and pin 5 = red.

If it is a relay switching mic , whichever is shorted in RX goes to pins 2/4 and 3.

its a mic from a yaesu vertex,i get transmit and audio from it.when i try to jump black to pin 2,it receives,but transmits a squeel.mic wires are yellow(sheilded),black n red. i e-mailed dinker n 307 to the e-mail's provided,didnt kno exactly how this forum stuff werks. thank you for helpn a fello dx'r. 73'z
