38lsb is getting worse than channel 6. Im getting sore ears. 26.855 to 26.955 seems too quite down here. 27.415 to 27.655 has way too much spanish skip!

Steve,

I tend to monitor 38LSB but can switch to most any other channel around the CB bands once contact is made (but I won't go into the ham bands). Ironically, here the spanish seem to rule below the normal 40 and they are on USB above but fewer in my ears.

Unfortunately, I rarely can hear Kentucky and have only talked there once. That's too bad but it's just the conditions.

If you ever hear 799 N.W. Florida, that's me, and 779 N.W. Florida is my daughter. We jabber out there a bit.

STEVE I am on 27385 a lot, I listen mostly, but if I know there is someone that can hear me I will try, I talk to KENTUCKY a lot, and whenever I hear 799 I block his ears, he does not even know Kentucky is a state,He thinks Daniel Boone has a talk show, ha ha ha I am unit 536, and I like talking to 799 and 779.

Hey....now that's not fair. Daniel Boone is the mayor of Kentucky, that's the capitol of Tennessee. I know it's true because I read it in the National Loser&Lies magazine and they only speak the truth!

I found it on the internet, which was created by the governemnt, so I know it's true. :)

Well thanks for all the input. I will be listening for everyone.

Has anyone ever thought about making a standard copper forum calling channel? Maybe for the weekends or whenever? Just a thought.

And yes being from Kentucky I wear a Coon Skin Cap and carry a shotgun to work everyday!

Like I said in another post, I am doing some upgrades to my radio and its not here.

I do have another radio I could use but, only on reg 40 channels.

But, if you wish I can go to a freq within the reg 40 channels and we could try.
