Well that day is almost here, I like to put my Cobra hand held behind the potted plant on the porch and wait for the little rascals, the wife wanted $80,00 for Spookey posters for the windows, I told her to give my 90 year old mother in law $10.00 to sit in the window with a flash light under her chin, spam again tonight.

Karatebutcher, a funny post indeed! Bruce if that is your home I applaud you and Karatebutcher for your efforts for the children. That is what Halloween is all about.

Too many people want to relate it to religious events.

For those that believe this way..... hand out the candy and look at those smiles... that is what Halloween is really about in these days. Enjoy the smiles of the children.

Glad you asked look up on the roof you will see a pole slightly bent( i got to retie the 40 meter antenna ) it supports 40-10 meter dypoles and on top of the pole is a discone 25-900 mhz i also use it for my scanner
so on one pole i go 7 mhz to 900 with 2 coax feeds

NEXT im looking into a flagpole for 17 meters 1/4 wave with 4 burried radiles and can be used as a 3/4 wave on 6 meters on the frount lawn with coax burried back to the shack!

It's a shame that something that was so much fun now gets such a bad image. All of the sicko's trying to hurt kids with the razor blades, poisons, etc.

Enjoy the kids that still have an imagination...to dress up as a hero, or a scary monster, or whatever. Have some fun. We all get to be old so much longer than we get to be young!!!. Have a safe and fun 31st.

Hey Taz karatebutcher is so old...... HA HA HA You know karate you deserved that! All kidding aside New York in the 50's WAS SAFE for a kid. In my section of queens in the 20 years i lived there from the early 50's to 70's there was ONE murder. Now their is a dozen per year and the kids dont walk the streets on halloween thats sad since some of the kids are grandchildren of people i went to school with .... its better here in ceneral florida. I got 100 kids last year.... and im ready for that many this yers too we use FRS radios a hole group of us to watch over the kids the guy next door has 2 and except for a few people here ( BAH HUMBUG )our street will be alive with the walking dead that night. You know karate we did what you said too costumes my mon made ours gosh do i remember the pillow case i would bring it home full.... and my 85 year old grand mother would grab a few for her shair!

Bruce,
Me mean NOT!! For the last 5 years I have won the city Halloween decorating festival!! I have a big party for children of all ages on the 30th(so they can still go ouy on the 31st) at my home!
We (my family) all dress up and have as much fun as the children that come to the house! I always have and give out a large amount of candy and snaks!!!
My fright house, which is an old barn, is voted the scariest in the tri county area every year!
I love Halloween!!

No i didnt see that photo our bedrock gazzet ( St Petersburg Times ) dosnt print any nice photos with ugly babies or even good looking ones but i would like to see it scan it if you have it and send me a copy .... wa4gch@yahoo.com
Last year i gave out over 100 packs of candy in bags with a wendys coupon for a free frosty stappled to them to took almost 10 lbs of candy ..... heck im dieabetic darn could not take samples it all went to the kids.... then there is the school my son goes to for profoundly handicapped lots of needy kids there we sent 5 lbs of bulk rapped candy and of course for his class a bag with coupon for each in his class... back 18 years ago when he went to the pinellas county assoc for retarted children's school the wife hand made the baskets out of plastic canvas but her eyes are bad now so about 7 years back we had to start buying them. This year im planning to send about 30 bags with coupons and the 5 lbs of bulk candy others also chip in candy so many of the kids get candy .... some are too sick to be given it we leave that up to the teachers and the moms realy liked the coupons at the school ..... like i said lots of needy kids and its tough to go trick-a- treating in a wheelchair.
