I have one of those, doesn't work right now, but is a neat collector's piece. Before it stopped working altogether, I was told that it talked pretty good.

That was a kind of cool radio concept. I guess it was supposed to give you that "mobile phone" look when on the road, rather than the "cb" look. You know, the guy next to you at the stoplight would look over and see you "talking on the phone"..

Gives the old epithet "Redneck Cell Phone" a whole new (or old) meaning, I guess. Of course, there was no such thing as a "Cell Phone" back then.

Sure does..Just look at all that Nicotine from 'dem cigarettes...Just think what the human lung of a smoker looks like...I get radios in for repair that have massive amounts of nicotine on them...I send them back from all the damage...
