Well, the ole Colt here wants to go to Copper's and buy a ground plane, but I can't find me a push-up pole to mount it on.

Y'all got any leads?

:)

Well, Radio shack might still have them. They sell a 19 foot model which you can add a 10 foot section to and that makes a nice set up for a cb station. If you want more height, go for their 39 foot model. Both already have the guy collars so all you have to do is provide the wire.

If you are not a Shack fan(or they no longer carry them) try Lowes. I was able to find a 30 foot model there.IMHO, better quality, heavier galvanized. Added a 10 foot section to it and my A-99 sits at 40 feet! It does a nice job.[Home DePot may have the same stuff as a Lowes. You may have to ask around though. There are 2 Lowes within 10 miles of each other in my area and one did not have these items]

Good luck hunting. If you know any guys that work for a power company, when they scrap old creasold poles, you can usually get one of those for nothing. More work than a push up pole, but when you have your antenna up, it is up. Make sure the first time though!(unless you have no problem climbing with linemans spikes.)
