Well there comes a time in life...UPS smashed the daylights out of a repair I did on a TS-5010. I am good for replacement IF I can find one..If you have one and care to email me at tech307@copperelectronics.com I would appriciate it...

Cheers. Ho-Ho-Ho

307 I feel your pain ...... years ago i bought a APX-6 transponder this thing was suposed to suvive combat..... it was shiped by railway express and arived SMASHED! 1/4 inch pannel was bent tubes broken even hinges ripped out of the pannel. It seems that when it comes to busting things some shippers just have a way no mater how good a job of packing you do. I hope you still have a merry christmas and santa finds that if you need!

307,you insured it didn't you ??? When we repair radios they are shipped insured,it is cheap, and you insure it for $100 more than the price of new one.Last year ups broke 3 radios in shipping and we replaced them and then keep the $100!!!!! UPS is one of our best and most profitable customers!!!

ok 307 I don't understand,IF the model is NO LONGER AVAILABL, from, the manufacturer, then YOU have to provide a COMPARABLE model to the customer! You DO NOT have to give customer the EXACT model they had !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When the model is not made anymore then ALL you are LEGALLY obligated to do is provide a SIMILAR model OR a refund for the CURRENT price of the radio. If the radio is not MADE any more what are YOU sup[poseed to do ???????? •••• one out ?????!!! no!!!! all YOU have TO DO IS PROVIDE A comparable MODEL or a refund, nothing more , nothing less. The way WE do it, when UPS looses a radio, the customer gets a brand new one and we get $100.00 cash............only in AMERICA !!! You got to play the UPS game !!!!!!
