Does anybody have any ideal what a maco 300 will do on a bird meter?

More or less almost nothing on a bird meter(thats why id never have a Bird meter) if it isnt the peak reading meter but it will swing to about 500 or so on a good ol' Dosy!!!!!

CM all i USE is a BIRD heck its good enough for any reading i take! All I tend to run is FM.

A Bird meter will read the output of a Maco. I had one for years, it showed Maco 300's about right, keying 300 watts or so. On a peak reading meter some of the Maco 300s will show 700-800 watts. The super 300 that came with the 2057s would get about a KW on a peak reading meter.

CM WHY? they are a standard ive used them for 40 years and own one ???
