What's a better radio? I have narrowed it down to these two. Delta force cost a little more and has a few more bells, but what one has the better receive and transmit?

The VR9000 is the best bang for the buck. If the bells and whistles don't matter get the VR9000.

You know Bruce I've never tried that...maybe someone else can reply. I know some features only work in the 10m mode.

I have not had the vr9000 but I do have a Delta I got from 671...and if you hear it with a d104m6b you will not believe it. Also if your into ssb it is rock steady. The stock mic also sounds great on this radio.
