FIRST THING people do is tear into their radio to make it swing and go places it wasn't meant to and clarify 10 kcs, then they want rock solid stability so they can sit back and enjoy without having to fiddle with it,DUH,you wrecked most of the stabilizers to get here. The only way you can get the best of both worlds is with a buncha bucks, ala ham radios and some times they are a pain to,you get what you pay for in this life. The dx2517 is rock solid and it goes where I want it to,actually farther than I care to travel. But it's neet being able to bragg on it,thanks,307,and all you at Copper, you've provided me with my dream radio.Bigbob

It is the Rolls Royce of 11-meter base stations. They have audio in all modes that rivals the HF ham rigs, sure they don't compare to the receivers on those ham radios, but with good tuning they are quite sensitive. Let's face it, they are Brown-market CBs, they aren't in competition with ham radios. But they are the ultimate CB/Freeband base.
