OK, I Need some help here if any one knows. I have tried several links I had for the RCI FEDERATION WEB SITE and are no longer able to find it anywhere. Would anyone happen to know if it is up and running under another name? It used to be a site dedicated to Ranger Owners with some good information on it. I have tried links from about 20 other sites to it with no luck. Any help or information would be appreciated. Thanks Lon Tech808 |

Lon, I just did a check, everything I could find pointed to an address of http://www.rciweb.com , however this page didn't respond. I did some further checking on the registration of this domain name, and found the following - ------------------------ Whois Server Version 1.3 Domain names in the .com, .net, and .org domains can now be registered with many different competing registrars. Go to http://www.internic.net for detailed information. Domain Name: RCIWEB.COM Registrar: WILD WEST DOMAINS, INC. Whois Server: whois.wildwestdomains.com Referral URL: http://www.wildwestdomains.com Name Server: DNS1.COOLDNSES.COM Name Server: DNS2.COOLDNSES.COM Updated Date: 08-jan-2003 >>> Last update of whois database: Sat, 11 Jan 2003 17:11:52 EST <<< The Registry database contains ONLY .COM, .NET, .ORG, .EDU domains and Registrars. --------------------------------------- Based on this info, the domain name was snatched up by some hostname reseller when the registration expired. Unless someone who had previously saved all the code which made up this site and is mirroring it elsewhere, looks like the site is long gone. 747 |

If you want to see what the site looked like, you can go to http://www.waybackmachine.org and in the search box on the center of the page type in http://www.rciweb.com Once something is put on the internet, it's there forever. For some real fun, enter http://www.copperelectronics.com in the search field and click on Jan 18, 1998 in the results field.

Insider, Thanks for this great information. Went to Coppers Jan 18, 1998 link and remember it well. Even liked the link to the Vice President. Site sure has changed over the years. This is a great link! Lon Tech808 |
