Here are my reviews on a few new radios and amps just purchased.... Ranger2985DX...Simply put this is a great radio, very stable ssb operation, good recieve, I recommend it!......Magnum 257...this is the best mobile radio i have ever owned. The only thing they could improve would be marking the knobs for better visibility. KLV200...Nice little amp about 90 watts AM, 210 SSB..Clean sounding. KLV400...Sweet sounding like tubers should be! full 400 SSB 180 to 210 AM..Good swing with about a 3 watt deadkey...Hope to talk to ya on 27.435 or 27.505, My better half sure isn't talking to me to much after this purchase!!!!!!! |

Hey saddle....try using some of the better halfs fingernail polish on the knobs of the Mag 257. I used some red polish on my knobs and it worked great |
