yes it is posted on both auctions...I emailed him about three weeks ago when he first listed it on ebay..they pulled it twice...and I suggested that he put it on YAHOO auctions...
I also thought his description was great..I do not think that he is going to get his reserve at either place..

First of all a DX600 Texas Star has (1) 60 watt trans driving (4) 80 watt finals. That amp is at least 15 years old.
The reserve should be $100 no more than that.

CM you got that right! E-Bay buyers have made a mess of the used radio market. It's a joke old AM Clegg 66'ers or 99'ers selling for far more than they cost new. Like you said people need to get real. " CLASSIC OR VINTAGE " radios = rusted junk even WW2 surplus that I bought new in the 60's for $10 is selling for hundereds ...... PLEASE! There ARE true collectables like maby a 2000 MINT or a BC-348 MINT! but the last 348 i saw was a TOTAL pile of junk modified with holes drilled everywhers and STILL sold for $300 I payed $14 for one NEW in 67 its still not a rare radio.

There is a "NEW" in box Uniden Grant XL on EBAY for $229 Buy It Now. I remember when Copper was selling Brand New Grants(A while ago!!) for $135 and Cobra 148s for $145......I still have some old Copper E catalogs.
My favorite EBAY disclaimer is "Unit is in excellent condition but untested.......sold as is"

My favorite is "Clean" never used "NIB" (New-In-Box) and you get it and it stinks to high heavens with cigarette smoke, the DC leads and mic cord smells like armorall, and the mobile bracket and radio screw holes are butchered!!! NIB...yea, right!

Go figure, and of course their email confirming your purchase says "I will leave positive feedback after YOU leave positive feedback first"! Come on, like I'm going to complain, or anyone else does, and risk negative feedback over dirtbags who drive their "positive" feedbacks via blackmail! Yes, even eBay has its share of faults

Mr Rf

I bought a small SW radio on e-bay when i got it at best it was a disapointment so i gave him a so-so feedback.........WELL he LAMBASTED me said i was a poor buyer not worthy of selling too and should be avoided! I REQUSETED of e-bay that i have the chance to clear my name only to be told you could not make changes in your feedback! After that i would only leave feedback AFTER they had!
Your so right!

You can add to your feedback a reason or rebuttle so to speak and a photo helps then add it to your "ME" page for all to see the nib radio and stripped screw holes.
