My cousin has a Cobra 29 LTD Classic WX, he got it at a yard sale. the TX and the WX were tempermental, it would work fine and then it would quit, if you hit a bump in the road it would start working fine again. i looked for any loose or broken conections in it and couldnt find anything. a few days later it just quit working all together, it still has power, but no TX, RX, or WX

Cold solder joint I bet use a pencil eraser and pull the top cover. Hooked it up and GENTLY press down on the board with it on, and listen to the recieve then start checking the area and resolder were needed. Takes time.
