Hello - I am new to CB radio and I have a RCI-2980. My friend is getting out of radio and wants to sell me his amp. He says that it is a great amp and I will love it.
What do you guys think of this amp? I know from some other posts that some people do not like the Palomar 350z amp. The amp looks brand new and he wants $175 for it.

Big Bird, I my self like the Palomar amps, and the Skipper 300 is a pretty good amp, you can find better amps out there, but for that price you can keep it for a while , use it ,then latter sell it for another one when you really know what you want. |

Big Bird,
I Have One Of Those Amps. They are very good. Befor you buy it ask how The Tubes Are if they are low its not a good deal. The Skipper Is A Very nice amp.
