what is a good external speaker, I have a galaxy 949 and the stock speaker does not sound that good. |

Get a good pair of Bookshelf speakers and plug them in the back of the radio!!! |

The (believe it or not) Cobra HGS100 is one of THE BEST external speakers I've heard on the CB market. I'm sure Copper has them. They sound twice as sharp and clear as the $50 Ranger speakers. The HGS300 has the built in "noise filter". |
