From work at the GE nuk plant here in largo fla. I watch the challenger blow up in 86. The cloud from 140 miles away could been seen for over 1 hour. This brings back that day so clearly..... Space is a dangerous place and we have been so lucky Ourprayers go with all of them.

Absolutely,

Space is the only frontier left for humanity. That makes the astronauts (and cosmonauts) the only true pioneers! Their knowledge, skill, and bravery combined has to be the most of any individuals in the world. They are "travelling soldiers" who perform the most dangerous and awe inspiring peacetime missions there are.

I hang my head and pray for the crew who perished and their families. I also pray for the safety and success of those who continue their work. Also that pressure from politicians and nearsighted folks doesn't prevent our space program from moving forward.
